Ten THOUSAND and counting

Well, being the saddo that I am I went to see whats been listed on ebay... and theres PLENTY...

The day BEFORE Michael Jackson died there were 33 Michael Jackson memorabilia items listed....... in the SEVENTEEN HOURS since he died there have been FIVE THOUSAND. That doesnt include music listings..... there have been over FIVE thousand music listings too..... I didnt check how many there had been the day before, but you can bet it was nothing by comparison....

Thats over TEN THOUSAND items in less than 18 hours... in just 2 catagories... on ebay, and that number will probably double by the end of the day as people who are less organised start cashing in!!!!!!

QUESTION:

If you have some Michael Jackson goodies are you going to......

A) Get them on ebay asap and sell while theres a feeding frenzy?
b) Hold onto them because you're a die hard Michael Jackson Fan and cant bear to part with them, or......
C) Play the long game and put them away for safe keeping because you're sure they'll be worth a fortune in the future?

June 25 2009...... Michael Jackson is dead at just 50 years old.

Now for some of us thats a wake up call......... I'll be 50 next year.... scary thought.

I have to admit that I liked Michael Jacksons music... I grew up with it, I remember when he was a cute little boy with chubby cheeks and a pudgy nose...........

But come on.. be honest with me now.... what are you doing????

Are you a die hard Michael Jackson fans mourning the loss of an icon, are you sat thinking... Michael Who???? or are you one of the many millions of people who's almost certain they stashed their Michael Jackson record collection in the attic and are going up there now to see what you can find to throw on ebay and cash in on Michael Jacksons death??? And if they havent got it stashed in the attic they will find some other way to cash in.................

Its a sad but true fact, and it happens when ever anyone remotely famous dies, or there is some horrific event in the world people will be looking for ways to cash in on the tradgedy... And it is a tradgedy.... He may well have been wierd... Wacko Jacko.... but the world has lost an amazinly talented singer and 3 little children have lost their father.... my prayers go out to Prince, Paris and Prince2 (Blanket) Michael Jackson may well have lived on his own planet, and given his children names that fitted with HIS wieredness, but at the end of the day he was still their father....

OK, ok .... I can hear it now.... and the cynics amongst you hurt my head.... YES THEY ARE GOING TO INHERIT HIS MONEY..... and yes... their Moms will probably have control over it so they'll be happy....... But that doesnt change the fact that Michael Jackson is DEAD, the kids have lost their dad and probably 40% of the world are going to try and cash in on that one way or another....... The other 60% is split between the die hard fans and the people that couldnt give a shit (Thats probably a 40/20 split in favor of the people that dont give a shit!!!)

My percentages my be well off...... I've added a poll, please take a minute to answer it and prove me wrong :)
